While you’re right your approach to the problem is far too acerbic. People DO care about some of these things and a few care for all of them, but there’s a “tragedy saturation limit” most sane folks have like breaks are enforced at factory work.

For a person to be totally wrapped up in all these continuing injustices would render them too insane to be useful for anything, hence we have irony, humor and bad taste to preserve sanity in this insane world.

You’ve also got to consider how the humorless Left are gleefully using anyone’s postings anywhere in the past against them as a weapon when those old posts, PURPOSELY TAKEN OUT OF CONTEXT, goes against their agenda.

I knew about the Cambodian auto genocide since 1975 as I read the “Reader’s Digest.” Hardly anyone cared. When the crappy movie, “The Killing Field,” came out, I was fit to be tied. A little late fellas.
