The country of Jordan should be considered the true national homeland for the Palestinian people, according to Dutch right-wing politician Geert Wilders, who caused an uproar after making the declaration online.
In a Saturday post on X, formerly Twitter, the right-wing firebrand who won this past week’s election in the Netherlands made the remarks, sharing a Politico article describing Arab states condemning his “push to relocate Palestinians to Jordan.”
The post sparked widespread criticism and disapproval from Arab nations.
Often compared to former President Donald Trump due to similarities in his ideology and character, Wilders has earned the nickname “the Dutch Donald Trump” by the local press.
Having been under security for years due to his comments on Muslims, the leader of the Freedom Party (PVV) is known for his strong support for Israel, aligning his views with right-wing parties that have gained prominence across Europe. He has also referred to the Jewish state as the West’s first line of defense.
Wilders, who vowed to become the next Dutch prime minister, has long argued that the conflict between Palestinians and Israel could be resolved through the recognition of Jordan as a Palestinian state.
In 2016, he slammed then President Barack Obama and Secretary of State John Kerry, demanding they “stop bashing Israel about settlements,” as he proclaimed that “Judea and Samaria belong to Israel,” and that “Jordan = Palestine.”

Yep, pretty much nailed it. No one wants to admit it, least of all the Jordanians.
So... why the uproar?!
WGAF?!
Legitimizes Israel’s claim to Israel?
he does have a valid point!!
I’m not arguing with him.
I was told when I was young that in the Bible that’s where the Palestinians belong in Jordan not in Israel.
If I remember my history from the past, when Palestine, under a British Mandate was partitioned it was to be between Israel and Jordan.
Jordan used to be home for a number of Arabs displaced by the Jewish state. But then they got feisty and the king of Jordan forced them to scram.
They ended up in ‘camps’ throughout the region, marked as lepers by their own kin.
I need to brush up on my world history but it seems these people now called Palestinians, a sect, lived in Jordan at one time, perhaps as their homeland, but were such troublemakers run off and they relocated to Lebanon where eventually run off to where they are now. I may be thinking of some other tribe, but I think it was the same as those Israel is stuck with. I would like to read about them again, so if you have any background material, please share. I am in my mid-nineties and gave my library away.
Glad Geert won and has some power over there. Hes been persecuted greatly by his own government.
Jordan fought a civil war to get rid of the Palestinians. I don’t think they would take them back.
The “Palestinians” led a civil war against Jordan years ago. They don’t want them, Egypt doesn’t want them, Israel doesn’t want them, and certain to h e double ll they don’t belong in Europe or the Americas.
“Truth”
Indeed.
Like holy water on a vampire, it burns.
Its more oral history to me from a guy who actually was a scholar of the Bible he got the education and was a radio preacher when I was young.
Namely Dr. Carl McIntire I listened to him quite a bit trying to talk current events, politics and the Bible.
Lost a radio station he owned to the Fairness Doctrine he had a slogan that started out “Freedom Is Everybody’s Business” and it is first part of my tagline.
The only reason this Israel and arab fakeitstinians thing still exists is because the arabs opponents are Jews. If they were Hindus it would have been put to rest back in the late 40’s/Early 50’s, with the Hindus holding onto all of the area west of the Jordan, and the arabs migrating to Jordan en masse. So at its’ core is a deep seated Israeli Jew hatred at the U.N, U.S State Dept and other elites that see the arabs as special
Jordan can be akin to East Pakistan and be called East Fakeitstand. Gaza can become West Fakeitstan. Eventually they have a civil war and East Fakeitstan becomes Jordanesh and West Fakeitstan becomes Fakeitstan
I understand. Sometimes that the best education.
But I don’t think these we call Palestinians existed in Biblical times because they are a Muslim tribe and Mohamed didn’t enter history for 600 years or so after Apostle’s established the Christian church throughout the Mediterranean lands (and more).
