That said, as countless videos of female cops show, women are simply useless in one on one or even 4 on one altercations with violent male criminals. I’ve seen two such videos just today. 4 women cops could not put the cuffs on one perp. He simply fought free and ran away.
So, operating tanks in a limited war zone, they did well and deserve congratulations.
At a minimum though, let’s be real, they were lucky to not have been dragged out of those tanks and beaten to death and/or bayoneted by real male soldiers instead of scum bag terrorists.
That Israel is in an all hands on deck situation and women MUST fight any way they can is a factor in and of itself though and that fact compliments these brave women.
I think people who see women in the military as a good thing see them as adding to the military, see them as being additional soldiers and who can be against that?
What people don’t see is that they are subtracting from the military, when you see a female soldier that means a male soldier was removed, so the women aren’t adding to, they are replacing the men.
There is a reason that standards are lower for women and that every military school and course has had to lower standards because of women, it is because they are not a direct replacement for men.

Just a minor point - they’re not going to get dragged out of a Merkava IV once they’re inside unless they forgot to lock the hatches. Technically, that thing is probably the most survivable tank in the world at this kind of warfare, which included angry terrorist asshats trying to get into the tank.
