said that they expect the shutdown of the Brandon Shores coal power plant outside of Baltimore to disrupt the power there and leave it wanting.
The plant's owner, Talen Energy, made a deal with the environmentalist group Sierra Club to deactivate it by 2025 in order to diminish carbon dioxide outputs.
That deal may not be good for residents, however..."
( My Opinion) : welcome to the war of eliminating any power source that is based on petroleum products or miss-identified as "Fossil fuel",
especially when electricity from renewable energy alone is risky, at best.
The reliability of electric from heavily subsidized natural sources has been proven to be unreliable and sporadic, at best.
Remember the "10 days of Frozen in Texas", and the numerous needless deaths in Buffalo in a wind driven snow storm and over 5 foot snow drifts.
