Prosecutors in both cases have complained previously that Trump is deliberately delaying his trials until after the 2024 election.

The prosecutors deliberately scheduled the trials during the 2024 election so they could interfere in the election. The trials do them no good if Trump has already won the election when they occur.

The trials do them no good if Trump has already won the election when they occur.

I can see that the Federal trials can probably just be ended by Trump's AG firing Jack Smith and directing that the charges are dropped.

But the State cases will proceed and Trump can't pardon himself in them as POTUS. The State of Georgia might have Trump in prison by Jan. 2024!

at that point Trump as President could declare Georgia in insurrection against the United States, order the U.S. Army to seize the Georgia State House, and burn Atlanta to the ground.

All the while reminding the Dems: "I'm just doing the same thing Abraham Lincoln did."
