Chris Jankowski, the CEO of the PAC that has been footing the bill for much of DeSantis' bus travel around key battleground states, stepped down Wednesday, days after a group of other DeSantis allies announced the creation of a separate PAC, called Fight Right Inc.
The move follows an account of vicious infighting between factions of DeSantis backers, NBC reported.
Jeff Roe, the leading consultant for Never Back Down, reportedly got into a 'heated' argument with DeSantis advisor Scott Wagner during a budget meeting.
a source told the network, in a stunning account of how the two men 'nearly came to blows.'
Amid the internal struggles, DeSantis is banking heavily on Iowa after the state's evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats gave the Florida governor his endorsement.

Ouch!
Does anyone know how many “reboots” there have been? My guess is three plus today’s plan.
Sort of like “the New Nixon” but he won 49 states in 1972 (McGovern won 1 ((Mass.)) plus the corrupt DC.)
The new super pac has already got $540k of ads planned for Iowa, and is run by desantis Florida cronies...
“The Florida nonprofit listed three directors, all with ties to the Florida governor: David Dewhirst, a senior adviser in the governor’s office, according to his LinkedIn; Jeff Aaron, a DeSantis appointee and a lawyer who incorporated the nonprofit; and Scott Ross, a managing partner at Capital City Consulting, a lobbying firm closely aligned to DeSantis.”

Another reboot? How many is that now?
lol...
I envision that the ‘fight’ probably was more like a purse swinging fight...
Though you can never tell...
I looked around and don’t see many other details on this yet....
or of the ceo resigning....
Ha.
“That’s you, what about me?”
“Silly goose.”
“Hey, I broke a nail.”
“That was my new handbag from the Vuitton store looting.”

Bob Vander Plaats, an evangelical leader in Iowa, has admitted to being paid 95K by the DeSantis campaign prior to his endorsement. What a waste of money – considering this guy was happy to be a Never Trumper for free.
(Reuters) – The DeSantis campaign, a super PAC linked to him and a nonprofit group supporting him together paid $95,000 in recent months to the Family Leader Foundation, an Iowa-based nonprofit led by evangelical leader Bob Vander Plaats, according to campaign finance reports and a document prepared by an Iowa state lawmaker who was helping the Vander Plaats organization raise money for a July 14 presidential candidate forum.
The document and the amount spent by DeSantis and his allies are previously unreported.
For that money, DeSantis and supporting groups got three pages of advertisements in a booklet distributed at the July forum attended by 2,000 Christian conservatives, and tickets to the summit, lunch and an after-dinner event.
But the real value may be more in building a relationship with Vander Plaats, whose endorsement is coveted in the early-voting state, said three campaign finance experts and an academic who studies Iowa campaign spending.”

Desantis could have helped unite the Republican Party by endorsing President Trump for 2024. Instead, he chose to run against him and divide our country further in an act of sheer desperation. Please clap…
Perhaps the worst campaign in histoir.
He is just a terrible candidate. Not ready to ever be POTUS.
“Vander Plaats, who leads the influential says his backing could be decisive if Trump is to be stopped.”
And that is precisely the problem. They don’t have a goal except to “stop” Trump. THAT is the central GOP goal.
If DeSantis had supported Trump’s policies, win or lose by Trump, DeSantis would likely have been the nominee in 2028. Now he seems to have wrecked his own political future.
Give it up Ron. Should have held back until 2028. Now you are finished, Kaput forever.
DeSantis will be fine.(sarcasm)
Anti Trump partisans say Orange Man has been “put to pasture.”

I’m a Trump supporter who is leary of throwing DeSantis into “the ashes” over his idiotic decision in 2024.
However, if he doesn’t provide unity after his Fool’s Errand, I’m done with him.
I can not think of anything else to explain why people are still running right now besides the hope that Trump gets imprisoned.
DeSantis’s entire presidential campaign is the largest hot mess I’ve ever seen. I’m stunned by how awful it has been. He’s done such a good job as governor of Florida. I guess he should stay there and keep it going. This run just isn’t working out for him.
