This Is Javier Milei’s Advice to Americans About Socialism. It’s Spot On.

Argentina’s newly-elected president, Javier Milei, is taking a wrecking ball to the destructive leftist policies that have destroyed his once-prosperous nation. Ahead of his electoral victory, the libertarian gave some advice to Americans about how to avoid the road Argentina traveled.

Speaking to Tucker Carlson in an interview last month about the dangers of socialism, the politician urged Americans to “never allow yourself to be seduced by the siren song of social justice."

“Don’t get caught up in that terrible concept that where there is a need, there is a right,” he continued, noting that this doesn’t happen on its own and those who desire to oppose socialism must be ready to fight a culture war every day.

Failure to do so results in socialists gaining a foothold in the State and “seducing” the media, culture, and artists, and eventually poisoning educational material.

To prevent this, their funding must be cut off, he argued, and the business sector must be taught that focusing on their bottom line is not enough, that “part of their investment must include investing in those who defend the ideals of freedom so the socialists can make no further advances.” Otherwise they'll impose a “long term agenda that will destroy everything it touches.”

I agree, he is spot on.
I wonder if we can still save our schools from the inhuman, abusive, Cultural Marxism disaster. Maybe we can... one last chance may remain...

I went ahead and watched the Tucker inteview with Javier Milei and was very impressed with his intellect and his broad knowledge of the world situation. He explained his pro life position in a way that US politicians should take a lesson from.

He is not the "clownish" character that the mainstream media portrays him as. They are trying to marginalize him into a larger than life cartoon character like they did Trump.

But this man is serious about making Argentina better - he gets it.

Experience provides you with an inexpensive education - if it is someone else’s experience.

America should learn from the disaster that happened to Argentina.

Stop doing what they did.

“Don’t get caught up in that terrible concept that where there is a need, there is a right,”

Franklin Roosevelt's fascist administration blew right by that; now even supposed "conservatives" angrily defend his programs.

It’s not just socialism, it’s fascism - the collusion of government and business to control the general public.

So when your business guy gets his politician buddy to set statute and regulation to manipulate the market to favor the business, the business rewards the politician with campaign contributions and cooperation with the politician’s agenda - such as suppressing speech in social media or eliminating the sale of certain products to be more green.

I wonder when the US propaganda media will notice that Zalensky does fit this description.

He is absolutely correct. Socialism and communism, two sides of the same Collectivist coin, attempt to remake human nature - which is impossible. In the process of doing so, they fail miserably, and the only result is that the thugs in charge double down on their prior methods and make everybody even more miserable. It eventually ends up with gulags or just outright murder in the streets by government-controlled goon squads.

I hope that this guy can make Argentina a shining example to everybody south of the border that maximizing individual liberties is the only path to individual and society, improvement and happiness.

Javier is too late with his advice to Americans. The Socialist are ingrain in our culture. Look at the Clintons, Obozo and Biden’s present day situations.

Be careful lest you get lectured on fairness or “have a right to xxx” brigade

Lot of people in this world that think just because they believed a promise or had a “contract” with government that it justifies them taking from an innocent party to get what they are due.

OK ... I’ll be careful.

I’ll carefully state the obvious: Social Security and Medicare are generational rip-offs and ponzi schemes enforced at gunpoint by our fascist government. Together they make up more than half of federal expenditures; we must end them if we are to avoid governmental and societal collapse.

And now come the wards of the State to defend “muh sosul ‘curity” ...

Those cockroaches at MSNBC and CNN will be the first to be squashed.

Banjo Boy and his adulterous wife are on the menu, along with the two homosexual Twinks (Willy + Hayes).

Excruciating pain and misery is coming. First the empires collapse and then the punishment. /spit

So is our government already working to “eliminate” Milei like they have done all the others, e.g., Shah of Iran, Sukarno?
