There is emotions there. The conditions that Russia gave for peace was Ukraine neutrality. We chose to not honor that and now the Ukraine people are dead.

The link I gave establishes the cause of the war, our trying to take away Ukraine. The war is our fault, because of our deceptions.

The war is our fault

You seem like the kind of guy who thinks a girl that gets raped is to blame since she wore a short skirt.

Russia invaded Ukraine. It is 100% their fault that the war happened, and they are responsible for every consequence of the war.

By your theory Russia would be justified if they invaded Finland because Finland isn't necessarily neutral now.

Russia is responsible for their own actions, unless Putin is really just Joe Biden's puppet which seems unlikely.

Bollocks.

Before Maidan, Zelenskyy was a celebrated guest on Russian TV, spoke Russian not Ukrainian, and lived in a country with no prospect of joining NATO, and at least ten years away from being considered good enough to join the European Union.

Yanukovych, the Ukrainian president, and Azarov his prime minister, were about as friendly to Russia as you can get without going full Lukashenko... Until repeat nastiness from Russia drove the country to look West.

Khazakstan and Tajikistan are being more bolshy to Putin right now than Ukraine was being in 2013.

Between 2008 and 2013 Russia waged fuel blackmail on Eastern Europe, conducted cyber warfare in the Baltic, blackmailed senior officials in Ukraine and other border countries, engaged in serial election interference, flooded the region with agents provocateur, attempted to assassinate a Ukrainian presidential candidate during elections, invaded Georgia, and forced Yanukovych into signing away his country’s sovereignty on December 17th 2013.

And they’re suspected of responsibility for a plane crash that took out several Polish political and diplomatic figures.

Maidan happened because of those actions, not because of western schmoozing. Yanukovych becoming Putin’s bitch against the Ukrainian constitution and in direct opposition to his own mandate and oath of office was the final straw.

Your link for the cause of the war is balls to the wall Russian revisionist fantasy fiction.

“The conditions that Russia gave for peace was Ukraine neutrality. We chose to not honor that and now the Ukraine people are dead.”

BS. Russia massed troops on its border with Ukraine months before it invaded in February, 2022 (which in reality was an escalation of its 2014 invasion of Ukraine).

“The war is our fault, because of our deceptions.”

Again, BS.
