I’ve been getting things together for days...packed tonight. LOL! Soooo ready and I think it will be a nice traveling day.
Good evening, radu...if it did, I didn’t notice. We were “clear and cold and sunny” for quite a while. Foggy early, but sunny out my front window from late morning to most of the afternoon.

Getting everything together. Hubby hasn’t packed and he’s now asleep in front of the TV. LOL! It won’t take him long, though.
Looks like we’ll have a pretty good travel day. Though long. I AM ready to see the kids! It’s always fun. My granddaughter has to work on Thanksgiving Day, but I can relate to working holidays.
As cold as it is, it would probably take a good jump in the temp to be able to notice. LOL It’s frigid!
It’s been a pretty low-key day here. I did make a quick run to the store for a couple of things this evening. I’m thinking about mopping the kitchen floor tonight but that’s as far as I’ve gotten with that. LOL

Glad to here the weather will be nice for your travel. A long drive like you have ahead is no fun when the weather’s crummy.
The crummy weather is heading our way and it’s supposed to be dicey here tomorrow night. At least they say we could get over an inch of rain. I just hope for no downed tree limbs out of the deal.
Where is Piper working? Too bad she has to work Thanksgiving Day but like you, I can relate. Worked many of the over the years.

I know, huh! Boggles the mind! She works for Cracker Barrel [the restaurant] as a hostess. I’m sure she’s a hard worker. She wants a car reeealllly bad. LOL!

She works for Cracker Barrel as a hostess. Only job she can do there since she’s underage and I guess they serve drinks/beer there? I really don’t know. We haven’t been to one in ages. Too expensive. LOL!
Good for her...she is working hard for what she wants.
So, will you be dining at Cracker Barrel for a meal when she is working, or would that embarrass her?

I’m not sure if we will. I don’t think it would embarrass her too much, but it depends on what’s going on. Having Thanksgiving dinner there might be a good plan, though. LOL~
