From time to time we get defeated since the dirty dems always vote together maybe we should learn from that....
If the foreign born vote like many cuban Americans I know the will blend into the population and it may not be as big a disaster as it appears. Also, do they vote percentage wise as much as the rests of the US? I think not.
What could destroy us however is the recent 8-10 million, they will be much harder to determine.
So true, bottom line: there is no clean way to do what the IDF is doing.
Hiya RG, All...HAPPY THANKSGIVING TO ALL! And do not do anything I wouldn’t do.
I have been paying close attention to that Israel situation, as most of us have. I note one thing that kind of bothers me. I go to church every week....I am Catholic to establish. My Pastor has by since the beginning of all that going on in Israel, given about six homilies.
Not once has he mentioned that we pray for the Israelis.
And yes, this is odd in my parish. We often have the Bishop appear on close TV to make important announcements. And then there’s our parish newsletter and the Diocese newspaper.
Nothing about all that going on over there.
The Catholics appear to not want to get involved in the debate.
Odd, I think.
Good analogy. But with even some young Americans falling under the late bin ladin's spell, we don't even have to go back that far.
That is sad to hear.
That is sad to hear

The Deacon will run a quick "let us pray for those fighting in Ukraine and Israel" at the gospel wrap-up.
And RG...the Methodists are so very liberal but I might argue that the Episcopalians are move out there.
At any right, Christ was born in Bethlehem. He lived in the Mideast. I should think the Catholics would wish the Jews the best because...so ok, they don't believe in Christ as the son of God but ....oh well, I'll stop now.
I just can't imagine being on the side of Hamas.
I'm sure that isn't the case! But folks want to play pretend and just say they are for "peace," by way of Israel quitting, which is, unfortunately, the same thing.
The Catholics down here in the South are more conservative, like their protestant brothers.
Yet my Archbishop (Archdiocese of Mobile) Rodi prays for “all” Israel and Palestine. He never says one without the other. He does the same for Russia and Ukraine, and even Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s all very lukewarm and political to me.
I suppose he has to be neutral—all lives are important to God—but it would be nice to see him get a little miffed about some of the atrocities being committed when they occur.
Johnson may not be able to get senate off their arses, either, but he’ll be more forceful, less likely to go along, and at minimum force votes to get the weasels on record......which McCarthy was afraid or reluctant to do.
Being more forceful with the Senate is meaningless. Less likely to go along with the Senate leads nowhere fast. Getting votes of the House members on record may be a possibility, but if the legislation goes nowhere, the infighting may or not be worthwhile.
In any case, we shall see what is coming around the bend soon enough.
“@OpenSociety operates out of Ukraine.”
Well...that is very interesting.
Not A Maria Fan! She turned on Trump after 2016..
I distrust disloyalty. My Sister was here and watched it today, her internet is out.. (Thanks COMCAST)
I cannot stand her but I put up with her show for today..
My response Bleeecchhh!
Seems like an interesting thread
Can you post a link?
Thanks.
McCarthy has used the allocation of funds as a weapon against MAGA candidates like Joe Kent. He denies them support.
Agreed. Schumer has a 51-49 majority in the Senate, yet he has been able to advance the Biden agenda, often with Rep assistance to overcome the filibuster.
An increasingly woke military coupled with an educational system that teaches our children to hate America have consequences. The recent support for Hamas and OBL on our college campuses should come as no surprise.
And endless, expensive wars that see the needless sacrifice of American blood and treasure discourage people from joining the all-volunteer force. When you have military leadership buying into climate change being the greatest National Security threat and engaging in woke language that demeans whites and portrays them as racists, you should expect recruitment and retention problems. The new Chairman of the JCS has complained about having too many white pilots.
The US spends more on defense than the next ten countries combined. We can’t afford that level of spending. Money alone doesn’t buy quality.
FBI infiltrated J6 truth will come out.
