(Reuters) -Israel, the United States and Hamas have reached a tentative agreement to free dozens of women and children held hostage in Gaza in exchange for a five-day pause in fighting, the Washington Post reported on Saturday, citing people familiar with the deal.
As part of the detailed, six-page agreement, all parties would freeze combat operations for at least five days while "an initial 50 or more hostages are released in smaller groups every 24 hours", the Post reported. Hamas took about 240 hostages during its Oct. 7 rampage inside Israel that killed 1,200 people.
The newspaper said overhead surveillance would monitor ground movement to help police the pause, which also is intended to allow in a significant amount of humanitarian aid. There was no immediate comment from the White House or the Israeli prime minister's office on the Post report.
The hostage release could begin within the next several days, according to people familiar with its the agreement.

Under the terms of a six-page agreement;
According to the report, an outline of the deal was created during several weeks of talks in Doha, Quatar - where Israel, the USA and Hamas - indirectly represented by Qatari mediators, hashed out the logistics. Until now, it was unclear if Israel would agree to it.

Wait and see what happens in the coming hours...
This is the dumbest stupid f idea that Israel has done since it began this. Because Hamas much will take advantage of it And they be lucky if we ever get any of these freaking people back alive.
Oh brother, 5 hours all hostages or nothing. During those 5 days, Israel completely occupies the entire gaza to enforce security. Gaza is not a soveign country or territory. It has no rights. Occupying is not a military operation. Do say just do it. Hamas will claim Israel violated something and not release all the hostages nor say how many are left. 5 days will become 5 years then forever. IDIOTS, all of them. Kill everyone single one until the hostages are released then kill.them for taking them hostage. This is just to screw Israel. How can you be so stupid.
Israel is making a mistake.

DON'T DO IT, ISRAEL!
If true, this would be snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
Israel is under a lot of pressure by the US, with the threat of logistics being cut off.
They don’t want to make the deal, but they have to. They are going to have to mitigate whatever benefit Hamas obtains.......by way of surveillance drones.
Will all women and children be feeed?
If they can achieve a ceasefire for hostages, Hamas will simply take MORE HOSTAGES.
This is reckless.
Israel should call on all non-HAMAS supporting residents of Gaza to move to a safe area, then, 5 days later resume hunting down and killing every member of HAMAS. Give them no quarter, anywhere.
If I’m Israel, I’ll make an offer. End the war. But release all the hostages immediately.
I doubt Joe Biden and Antony Blinken will cut off Israel. They'll complain. But they're not going to cut off Bibi.
Watching the live cameras from Sderot, Israel, into Gaza, 40 days into the war, and there is still small arms fire, machine guns. I’m surprised they haven’t routed HAMAS out of this area, but then again there are still buildings standing in Gaza. Five day pause and watch where they all scurry to and from to know where to target after the pause.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Saturday dismissed “a lot of incorrect reports” in recent days about imminent agreements to free at least some of the hostages and said there was no deal yet “as of now.”
In his briefing Saturday, Netanyahu was asked if Israel had passed up a serious deal first reported on Wednesday for the release of some 50 hostages, and if he was insisting that all the hostages be released.
He responded that “there was no deal on the table” and he could not elaborate further.

Bibi is right. But he'll have to give his people a bone.
However, it's best for Israel to accept collateral damage and refuse to negotiate. Otherwise, terrorists will continue to attempt to take hostages if they see that it will pay off for them in the future.
Oct 6, there was ceasefire in effect.
Made it so easy for Hamas go put and massacre 1200+
Do NOT trust Hamas, keep a gun to their head at ALL TIMES until Hostages are safely removed from them.
