According to an official statement from the office of Gov. Greg Abbott, R-Texas, President Trump will be heading to Texas on Sunday for a special event in Edinburg, where he will extend his thanks to Operation Lone Star Service members.
It is expected that Gov. Abbott will likely give President Trump his official endorsement in the 2024 presidential race on Sunday.
In Texas, Gov. Abbott has recently taken action to build a wall at the southern border amid the ongoing illegal immigration crisis.
He explained in September, “I officially declared an invasion at our border because of Biden’s policies. We deployed the Texas National Guard, DPS & local law enforcement. We are building a border wall, razor wire & marine barriers. We are also repelling migrants.”
Putting a stop to the ongoing illegal immigration problems at the southern border is one of the biggest cornerstones of President Trump’s reelection campaign.
The 45th president will also serve meals and speak with Texas National Guard soldiers on Sunday, as well as troopers at the Texas Department of Public Safety stationed at the southern border.
According to the press release, President Trump will be joined not only by Gov. Abbott but by DPS Director Steve McCraw, Texas Border Czar Mike Banks, Adjutant General of Texas Major Thomas Suelzer, and National Border Patrol Council President Brandon Judd.
Tune in on Sunday, Nov. 19, on RSBN for live coverage of President Trump’s special visit to Texas starting at noon ET.
We won’t tell anyone that the Saguaro were appropriated for that meme.
It wouldn’t have worked with Trump hats on Ocotillos now would it?

President Donald Trump is leading big time in the great state of Texas, eclipsing all other prospective GOP presidential candidates by dozens of points, new polling data has found.
According to CWS Research/Defend Texas Liberty, Trump has captured 58 percent of support in the Lone Star State, giving him a 47-point lead over former South Carolina Gov. Nikki Haley, who netted 11 percent of support.
Gov. Ron DeSantis, R-Fla., whose position in the Republican primary has rapidly fallen over the past few months, dropped to third place with just nine percent of support. Businessman Vivek Ramaswamy earned five percent of support. No other candidate earned more than one percent of GOP voters’ support in Texas.
In a head-to-head matchup, Trump also dominated DeSantis by an impressive 35 points (59 percent against 24 percent).
It would take a whole lotta lil MAGA hats, for the ocotillos!
