It’s always tough when good things come to an end, but before you know it, it’ll be time to open again. It was good to hang around with your buddies.
I do hope they aren’t lying about you getting some rain this time. There have been so many blown chances.
The tooth is repaired. He even came in today to finish the work, and didn’t charge me since it was the tooth I had filled on Tuesday. The bad part was he needed me to be there this morning at 8:30am! EGAD! So I won’t be here for much longer, as you can imagine. LOL!
Yeah, it IS tough but it isn’t forever. One nice thing is Da Boss decided he wants to get all the volunteers together in January for a dinner get-together at the museum. That will be fun. It’s rare we’re all there at the same time. It’s something to look forward to and it isn’t all that far off.
I pray they’re right about next week’s rain. It doesn’t look all that impressive right now but maybe it’ll build up as it moves east.
Glad he got the tooth fixed up but ouch on getting up early this morning. But hey, you got to sleep later than I did! LOL I wasn’t far from heading out the door when you woke up.
