Well, actually, as I have seen posted here so many times before, the USA is not a democracy. It is a Constitutional Republic.
More importantly, what they (Manchin, et al) are worried about is the end of business as usual and being exposed as the grifters, thieves, murders, rapists and pedophiles that they are behind closed doors.
