Israel’s opposition leader calls to remove Netanyahu: ‘The time has come’

Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid called for the removal of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Thursday, saying “the time has come” for a new governing coalition in Israel.

In a thread on X, the platform formerly known as Twitter, Lapid laid out his vision for a “national reconstruction government,” which he said would be led by another leader from Netanyahu’s right-wing Likud party, but would not include the prime minister nor “the extremists.”

Yair serves his liberal self. He didn’t call for new elections because his *ss would be handed to him.

But he calls on Netanyahu to resign in favor of another minor league Likud Party politician.

And Yair avoids the notion of the Great Moderate Hope Benny Gantz replacing Netanyahu as PM.

Agreed. I think that the IDF is buying the time to root all the Hamas terrorists & enclaves out while not broadcasting all their plans and actions which is very wise.
There has been a relative silence by the IDF since 11/13. When that has happened before eventually a significant operation is revealed.
