45th President of the United States Donald J. Trump to Deliver Remarks at Team Trump Iowa Commit to Caucus Event in Fort Dodge, Iowa @ Fort Dodge High School. 4 pm.
I wish there WERE scrapbooks and that the kinescope hadn't been erased. But all I have are wonderful memories and some playbills from when I was an adult and seeing the D'Oyly Carte perform. My mother did NOT keep playbills. :-(
:-(
OMGosh....I have a YUGE box of Playbills!!
Lol!
I’ll bet your students love you!
I’d love to hear him.
We used to have several bars that had live music, especially on weekends but not anymore, would have to go to the big city to hear live music and fight the crowds which I and hubby are too old to do anymore.
I have never heard of that kind of bombing.
Sorry!
😬
😂😂😂😂😂
So sweet!
A good memory!
In 1985, we went to see the first run ( it just opened in London ) of the rival of ME AND MY GIRL.
I damned near SHOUTED, when the pictures came alive and stepped out of their frames: THEY STOLE THAT FROM RUDDIGORE!
They seem to.
I guess it’s because I’m an old hippie who actually is still alive to reminisce about the legendary music of the 60’s.
Wow! It’s in great condition for 30!
When I had my first and only car, it was green and the license plate began with NV. So I called it THE GREEN WITH ENVY car! LOL
I’m sure it’s more than that.
:-)
That’s an old picture. Her chrome is getting quite oxidized, but buffing it out is too expensive, so I’ll let her age gracefully.
The only things I’ve had to replace are rubber or electrical. The Motor has been running steady for 30 years. Good Old Internal Combustion Engine.
Bombing is when we got as many friends as we could into daddy’s car and drove around to all the teen hot spots, usually on a Friday or Saturday night.
We had certain drive ins like Bob’s Big Boy, Max’s Drive in, that has Taquita’s 5 for a buck, and Kelly’s Drive In.
We’d just drive from one to the other and see who else was out that we could visit with.
So was teen life growing up in Albuquerque.
Green with envy! Ha hahaha
You and Jane are just youngsters.
Well, they love the music I use to teach.
I’m sure they would much rather play “Hey Jude” and the Theme from “Pirates of the Caribbean” than the dreaded Red Thompson Book (Fairies on the Lawn, The vine on the Wall, etc).
I got 3 7’s.
Do I win anything?
OMGosh.....that sounds like fun.
CLEAN fun, too.
Albuquerque, huh?
My great aunt lived near the University. Loved visiting her, and ABQ and Santa Fe, as a kid.
