There is a genetic link obviously, we just haven’t found it yet, and it’s not a behavior and preference related to sex, so it’s absolutely not a mere fetish.
Because if it were just a mere fetish then we need to add about 30+ more common fetishes to the list of things we should celebrate on some month, subsidize with tax money, have pride in with parades, guest speakers and flags, advertise in movies, legally protect and normalize in education... If it’s just a mere fetish (a sexual behavior and preference) then we need to be fair and give all the other ones a chance to have pride in what they like too!
