Josef Goebbels was a journalist.
Karl Marx was a professor.
Hitler and Nero were poets.
Marx got a PhD from the University of Jena in what would be called Philosophy today. He never got a teaching position because of his radical views. He later worked as a journalist then didn’t work at all just wrote about how to ‘save the world” - communism. He mostly lived off borrowed money from his mother, his wife & Frederick Engels as well as others. He was always angry that some of them expected to be paid back. I often think he dislike of paying his bills was the inspiration for his communism!
As far as I know Hitler only wrote one poem - to his mother. The poem shows even savage dictators at least in this case love their mother. He though himself as an artist but of the painting on canvas kind!
Nero OK but a more modern better choice would have been Mao!
What we know about Nero has been extensively filter by later Roman historians. It’s hard to say what’s really true!
