Minister of Defense Yoav Gallant commented, upon completing an operational situation assessment: "Hamas has lost control of Gaza - terrorists are fleeing south, civilians are looting Hamas bases."
The only bad part of this sentence is that the terrorists are being allowed to flee.

At some point when you’re sufficiently hungry and desperate you lose the fear of loss overwhelmed the opportunity to gain. Till that happens on a large scale in gaza then the hamas terrorists will maintain their stranglehold the gazans. But it only lasts until the hamas start handing out bread and water again to return the population to a state of pacification.
