Does this kind of juvenile dissing appeal to anyone other than die-hard DT fans? I voted for him twice but this shows why I won’t again. I’m sure it’s not easy for a billionaire to feign civility but he doesn’t even try.

Wearing lifts is weird. Ron opens himself up to such humor (if it's true).

Add to that Ron said a couple of days ago that the "party" shouldn't nominate Trump if he is convicted (a.k.a. if he is railroaded by his political enemies). I find it hard to feel sorry for Ron and his boots being mocked, when Ron says such self centered things like that.

I think his goal is to gain the nomination and prevent any other R from getting it. Winning is secondary in his egotistical mind.

Sure. Nevermind that Trump has won twice (minus the cheating the second time) and is leading in the swing states now for a possible third victory. No, it's Trump thinks "winning is secondary" like you said. lol.

"Wearing lifts is weird."

Wearing height-enhancing elevator boots puts one in mind of prominent rock stars in the past, who were said to have stuffed something into their pants during performances, in order to artificially enhance their appeal to certain segments of their audience.

For example, Mick Jagger of the Rolling Stones was reported to have stuffed a pair of socks into his pants, in order to appear more "well-endowed" to certain members of his concert audiences, as he pranced around on the stage.   (Reference - see, for example, "Mick's trick? Socks in his jocks" in The Sydney Morning Herald.)
