‘Aliens,’ or a foreign power? Pentagon UFO chief says someone is in our backyard
This week, the director of the U.S. government’s UFO analysis office stated that there is “evidence” of concerning unidentified flying object activity “in our backyard.” According to physicist Seán Kirkpatrick, who heads the congressionally-mandated All-domain Anomaly Resolution Office, this alarming UFO activity can be attributed to one of two extraordinary sources: either a foreign power or “aliens.”
To be sure, the ramifications of either would be significant. But Kirkpatrick’s comments, which come as he is about to retire after a 27-year defense and intelligence-focused career, are more intriguing because he also says that “none” of the hundreds of military UFO reports analyzed by his office recently “have been positively attributed to foreign activities.”

There are two more, reasonable, possibilities. The first is an, as yet, unidentified natural phenomenon. That’s unlikely but certainly possible.
The second and, to me, most likely is the efforts of another cryptic alphabet soup agency, more secret that the NSA and beholden to virtually no one. Our government is no longer accountable nor bound by any limits, legal or otherwise.
Terence McKenna had some wonderful analysis of time travel.
He said that the day it began history would end—because everything would happen at once!

One theory of time is that everything has happened at once - no time travel needed - we only perceive it as moving in a certain direction, but that direction could go from the future to the past as easily as from the past to the future - there is simply no way for us humans to tell.
Yup—that is related to the McKenna view—once we “invented” time travel it may just mean being able to perceive that (ridiculously confusing and chaotic) reality.
