If they are alien, I think that they are trying to prevent us from blowing ourselves up. I say this because there is credible evidence that a UFO disabled one of our missile silos in the 60s-70s. They were open about it as Air Force personnel were on site at the time of the incident. If I had to guess, the UFO was doing a "proof of concept" test.

If I had to further guess, I would say they are studying us like we study stone age tribes in South America.
