Much of the story was created back then and has been spun by media protecting Pelosi.
Well, yes, DePape created the story because he did the crime and told the tale.

News articles have titles, authors, and dates. All of which allow you to post properly and don't drive you to call fellow Freepers "a nazi posting cop."
State charges. Not federal. DePape attacked Paul Pelosi, a San Fran businessman. Not Nancy. Even if DePape really wanted to attack Nancy, she wasn't there. So no federal crimes against a government employee.

Almost like the current poster figured out the password to an old account on FR and just started logging in.
