Actually when you look at the total context of these two paragraphs you have three takeways...

 

Crowder said an unidentified party contacted a member of his website’s investigative unit claiming to be in possession of a portion of Hale’s writings.

A member of his team flew to Nashville to meet the source, who showed him images of the documents embedded in a text exchange with a person Crowder described as a “Nashville detective.”

 

1. The party who leaked the proof to Crowder is unidentified.

2. A team member said Crowder admits there is an image within that proof of a Nashville detective. But does that mean a Nashville detective was the leaker? Nope.

3. Third takeway is that we have a lying press manipulating the truth in order to frame Crowder
