Victims of VITT - a new condition identified by specialists - question the Government's monitoring of the vaccine's rollout and its efficacy
The Oxford-AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine has been branded “defective” in a multi-million pound landmark legal action that will suggest claims over its efficacy were “vastly overstated”.
The pharmaceutical giant is being sued in the High Court in a test case by Jamie Scott, a father-of-two who suffered a significant permanent brain injury that has left him unable to work as a result of a blood clot after receiving the jab in April 2021.
A second claim is being brought by the widower and two young children of 35-year-old Alpa Tailor, who died after having the jab made by AstraZeneca, the UK-based pharmaceutical giant.
The test cases could pave the way for as many as 80 damages claims worth an estimated £80 million over a new condition known as Vaccine-induced Immune Thrombocytopenia and Thrombosis (VITT) that was identified by specialists in the wake of the AstraZeneca Covid-19 vaccine rollout.

My elderly parents got 4 jabs of the Moderna. Each time made them progressively sicker than the prior. They finally told doc to go jab himself with it this year.

It would be nice if it were substantially more. I took (coerced by threat of government) to get the Moderna shot as well, so far I’ve been lucky. If I spend the rest of my life with no side effects from this I’ll call it a wash. I’m not going to forget the mandate, on account of my employer, or the those that threatened to use OSHA to levy severe fines.

It lasted for several weeks, and we almost lost a treasure. Naturally, Eric complained about it at the time and was ostracized.
The only collegues who stood by him were Van Morisson and Roger Daltry.
I saw Eric perform a couple of years later, and he is definitely back in shape, but it was a scare.
What was worse was the lambasting he took from the establishment when he dared to say something about the jab.
Thalidomide was never approved by the FDA for use in the US. A physician/pharmacist, Frances Kelsey, was concerned about the incompleteness of safety studies and refused to vote for approval of thalidomide. President JFK awarded her the President's Award for Distinguished Federal Civilian Service for her role in keeping thalidomide out of US markets.
The thalidomide babies occurred primarily in Europe, where regulators did not notice the incompleteness of safety studies. The manufacturer of thalidomide never did safety studies in pregnant animals.
Fortunately no one was forced by the government to take it, unlike the scamdemic crap.
The FDA pulled approval for the Johnson & Johnson vaccine because it increased the incidence of blood clots. (Still, the chance of getting a blood clot from catching Covid is hundreds of times higher than the risk from the J&J or AstraZeneca vaccine.)
I wonder if all of the people who refused to get vaccinated and then went on to develop a serious case of Covid causing long-term health impairments can sue the professional antivaxxers for feeding them a pile of hooey?
Personally, I went for the Pfizer vaccine. That's because I read the safety and efficacy data when the vaccines were being rolled out and judged that the Pfizer vaccine would be most effective. I just got the updated booster three days ago. (Of course, I dropped dead right away, which is kind of inconvenient, but what can I say? I'd still rather not catch Covid.)
Just as you say, it should be a choice. I didn’t get the “vaccine” and I am damn glad about it. I could tell we were being lied to.
