Former United Nations Ambassador Nikki Haley blasted entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy as “scum” after he brought up her daughter on Wednesday night’s third Republican presidential debate stage in Miami.
“In the last debate, she made fun of me for actually joining TikTok while her own daughter was actually using the app for a long time. So you might want to take care of your family first,” Ramaswamy said as the candidates clashed over the video-sharing app, which is owned by Beijing-based parent company ByteDance.
“Leave my daughter out of your voice,” Haley said. “You’re just scum.”

I don’t see any Sikh in that explanation... where do they fit in?
She also said she also wears six-inch heels not as a fashion statement but as “ammunition.” That doesn’t make sense. What does she do, rip them off her shoes and throw them at people?
The pro-Haley commentators loved that one. They’re saying that one line won the debate for her. Really?
Christie was a horrible color. It looks like he has a liver complaint that’s terminal.
Vivek is annoying. It appears the rest of the stage hates him too.
He says all the right things all the time and over and over and very fast and then says it again.

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis said on Wednesday that Hamas would have taken even more hostages out of Israel into Gaza if his administration had not funded flights to evacuate U.S. citizens out of there after the Oct. 7 attacks. Hamas abducted over 230 hostages in its surprise attack on Israel that day, an assault that lasted over 20 hours across multiple Israeli communities bordering the Gaza Strip. But Hamas operatives have not conducted further ground attacks on Israel since then, after the Israeli Defense Forces fought back and began encircling the Palestinian territory.
At the Republican presidential debate on Wednesday evening in Miami, DeSantis criticized President Joe Biden and said there could have been more hostages taken if not for Florida’s actions. He offered no evidence for that statement.
“I can tell ya, as governor, I actually did something about it,” DeSantis said. “Biden’s neglect has been atrocious. We had Floridians over there after the attack – he left them stranded. They couldn’t get flights out. So I scrambled resources in Florida, I sent planes over to Israel, and I brought back over 700 people to safety. There could have been more hostages had we not acted.”

Vivek really killed it at the debate. I loved the way he turned the tables on the corrupt media hacks doing the questioning.

There is a difference between insanity and ignorance. You should look it up.
Everyone else at the debate is hoping to get the nomination if Trump is somehow prevented from running, while Vivek is campaigning for Trump’s VP pick.
And dogs would be more loyal.
I agree that Ramaswamy is scum. Just not for the reason that Haley excoriated him.

I agree with others here that Haley is almost as annoying to listen to as Hillary was.
Shrill with a foul mouth and attitude, I can’t stand her.
But it was Haley who, I believe, was the first Republican to cave on flags.
I sense that as well.
