As conservatives, it is one of the issues we face. I ran into it recently. My state, the bluest of the blue, has been trying for the last year to push draconian gun control measures through the legislative process, but fortunately, we have the Gun Owners Action League (GOAL) in this state, and they keep the members up to date on what is going on.
Last month, they had a rally in the state capitol to protest the proposed legislation, but...it is on a Wednesday or Thursday. I cannot get off work to go (and it was short notice)
But I notice these people NEVER have difficulty getting to a protest.
I also wondered . . . don't any of them WORK? Or do they all have such flexible schedules they can just leave whenever they wish?
