The resounding and heavy opening blow on October 7 was by Hamas, but the war of iron swords spread from north to south involving more of Israel's neighbors, near and far. The strengths are different, but the connecting thread is clear - Iran.
(The map of the terrorist organizations involved in the fighting)
Hamas in Gaza
*October 7, 6:30 am, under the auspices of firing rockets and mortars into the Gaza Strip and central Israel, thousands of armed terrorists simultaneously occupy a series of settlements and military bases near the Gaza fence. In a murderous campaign, they kill more than 1,300 Israelis and kidnap more than 240 civilians and soldiers. Since then, the organization continues to launch rockets at Israel every day.
*According to estimates in Israel, about 1,300 terrorists from the Nukh'ba, the elite unit of Hamas, and about 1,500 other operatives in the military branch participated in the murderous attack.

*The security establishment estimates that the Hamas organization in Gaza has about 20,000 militants. The organization uses civilian facilities for terrorist purposes and the civilian population as a human shield.
*The connection to Iran: Hamas is committed to the Shiite axis led by Iran and is embraced by it. The organization's activities are directed by Iran. In recent days, the head of the political bureau of Hamas, Ismail Haniyeh, visited Tehran and met with Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei.
The Islamic Jihad in Gaza
*The Islamic Jihad terrorists have been involved in the war since its inception. They are considered the "little sister" in relation to Hamas. Jihad launches rockets at Israel and carries out terrorist acts. The spokesman for his military wing, Abu Hamza, uses psychological warfare like his friends in Hamas.
*The Islamic Jihad is responsible for the failed shooting that hit al-Ahli hospital in Gaza. A News 12 camera recorded the shooting, and the IDF revealed a recording of Hamas operatives in which they admit that the operatives of the sister organization are behind the shooting.
(The truth about the hospital explosion)
*At the head of the Islamic Jihad leadership is Ziyad al-Nakhalah, who serves as the organization's secretary general. An important senior in the leadership is the head of the military branch, Akram al-Ajouri, who actually also serves as al-Nakhala's deputy and lives in Damascus and Beirut.
*According to estimates in the security establishment, the Islamic Jihad has 10,000 operatives, not all of them military - some of them are engaged in headquarters and logistics positions. The terrorist organization also has defensive and offensive tunnels that are close to the border.
*The connection to Iran: The Islamic Jihad is very close to Iran and the Shiite axis. For example, Al-Ajouri is considered to be the coordinator between the Revolutionary Guards in Iran and the military arm of the terrorist organization.

Hezbollah in Lebanon
*Hezbollah mobilized for the war in which Hamas opened Gaza from the first moment with a series of incidents, some of them fatal, of rocket launches, anti-tank missiles and infiltration attempts. For some of them, those aimed at IDF outposts, he publicly took responsibility. On 5.11, for the first time since the beginning of the war, the organization accepted responsibility for a rocket barrage towards Kiryat Shmona.
*During the war, several rockets were fired at the Golan from Syria. According to estimates, Hezbollah is behind some of the launches.
*The organization stated at least 61 of its operatives were eliminated by Israel since the beginning of the war. The number is believed to be higher.
*Terror Summit in Beirut: Hezbollah Secretary General Hassan Nasrallah met about two weeks ago in the Lebanese capital with the Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad, Zyad al-Nakhala, and with the Deputy Head of the Political Bureau of Hamas, Saleh al-Arouri.
*The connection to Iran: Hezbollah is in direct contact with the Iranian government and is actually a front base of the Revolutionary Guards. There are two schools of thought in Israel: one claims that it is a terrorist organization directly operated by Iran. The second believes that Nasrallah is committed first and foremost to Lebanon and the Shiites in the country, where there are those who implore him not to enter the campaign with Israel.
Hamas in Lebanon
*Among other things, the terrorist organization maintains a military branch across Israel's northern border. He uses it to keep the IDF busy while he is immersed in the operation in Gaza - and to allow Hezbollah to distance itself, at least declaratively, from some of the shooting at Israel from Lebanese territory.
*The Lebanese affiliate produces rockets with ranges of tens of kilometers and managed to smuggle rockets and anti-tank missiles from Syria to Lebanon.

*On October 15, the Hamas branch in Lebanon accepted responsibility for firing a rocket towards the Western Galilee. On 10/29, it received responsibility for firing 16 rockets at Nahariyya. On 2.11 received responsibility for firing 12 rockets at Kiryat Shmona.
*Saleh al-Aarouri, number 2 in Hamas who is staying in Beirut, is considered to be pulling the strings in the terrorist organization in Judea and Samaria. It serves as the central axis between Hamas and the resistance camp.
The Houthis in Yemen
*Since the beginning of the war, missiles and UAVs have been launched in four cases from the Red Sea area towards Israeli territory. The Houthis in Yemen have accepted responsibility for the launches.
(Documentation: This is how the threat in the Red Sea was foiled)
*The Houthis are a socio-religious movement that was established in Yemen, first as a rebellion against the central government there - until it deposed the president, thus opening a front with Saudi Arabia which supported the previous government.
*The connection to Iran: The Houthis receive significant support from Iran, including an arsenal of missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles. They consider themselves committed to the Palestinian struggle in Israel.
Hamas in Judea and Samaria
*The understanding in Israel is that the war is not only against Hamas in Gaza, since the terrorist organization is working in an attempt to set fire to the territory throughout Judea and Samaria - while the IDF is doing everything to prevent this.
*Since the beginning of the war, the security forces have increased arrests in Judea and Samaria. So far, more than 850 Hamas members have been arrested in the last month. Among those arrested: the secretary of Fatah in Jenin, Ata Abu Ramila, who is considered one of the creators of the chaos in the section that incites against Israel.
*This month, the IDF destroyed the house of Saleh al-Arouri, number 2 in Hamas, in the village of Arora in the Ramallah area and placed among the ruins the sign: Hamas = ISIS.
("Hamas = ISIS": the sign hanging on the ruins of al-Aaruri's house)
Hamas abroad
*Some senior Hamas officials are thousands of kilometers away from the battles in Gaza and direct the terror by remote control. They target terrorists, are involved in decision-making, manage budgets intended for the combat system and incite in the media in an attempt to harness global public opinion.
*Among the senior officials at the top of Hamas abroad: the head of the leadership Khaled Mashal and his deputy Mousa Abu Marzook. Alongside them are other senior workers who are currently staying outside of Gaza - Ismail Haniyeh and Yahya Sinwar's deputy, Khalil al-Hayya.
*The Lebanese Al Jadid channel reported that the leader of Hamas in Gaza, Ismail Haniyeh, is expected to visit Lebanon in the coming days to monitor the issue of the abductees in Gaza.

*According to the intelligence division, the foreign leadership of Hamas maintains terrorist activity in Muslim countries and Muslim communities in the West in four main arenas: Lebanon, Turkey, Qatar and Iran.
The pro-Iranian militias in Syria and Iraq
During the war, several rockets were fired at the Golan from Syria. Pro-Iranian militias are believed to be behind some of the launches.
Since the beginning of the war, the pro-Iranian militias have significantly increased the attacks against American targets in Syria and Iraq, in view of the backing that the USA gives to Israel.

On 2.11 the pro-Iranian militias in Iraq claimed for the first time that they had attacked a target in the Dead Sea. They stated that they did this in support of the residents of Gaza and in response to Israel's actions.
*The connection to Iran: The pro-Iranian militias operate under the auspices of the Quds Force of the Revolutionary Guards to establish Iranian involvement in Iraq and Syria. They cultivate close ties with Hezbollah in Lebanon and develop weapons under the guidance of Iran.
Terrorism is an industry, like farming or mining. The product is death in the most public and horrible way possible. The customers are rich donors, corporations and governments who benefit politically or financially from the product. The various organizations can be viewed as companies who compete with each other for customers. The louder and more public the product display the more likely that faction will get financial support. The purpose of the Palestinians is to keep “the fight” alive. If the Muslim countries surrounding Irael had opened their borders and resettled the Palestinians, then the whole area would be living in peace. The Palestinian “crisis” is used by the various dictatorships as the focus point that takes the minds of their citizens off of how horrible the regimes that govern them are. The Palestinian crisis is like waving a stick with a bunch of feathers on the end in front of a kitten. The kitten being the population of whatever dictatorship needs the population distracted.
There can’t be any peace or resolution because there is little in the way of alternative employment in the entire region. The corruption of the regimes and the inherent poverty of living in the desert rule out the sort of cultural dynamism found in Europe or the Americas. The reason terror alerts are up all over the world is the actions of Hammas have stimulated competing organizations to act less Hammas take all of the customer’s money and those alternative organizations starve or lose their members, employees, to Hammas.
I expect that in the near future, the leaders of ham-ass in qatar will have accidents.
And every bit of this is the fault of Jimmy Carter. Iran was a US ally until Carter helped the ayatollahs take over.
