During the 2020 presidential campaign, a sizable portion of the attendees at Trump’s rallies — sometimes as high as 25% of them — were registered Democrats. I suspect very few of them would ever vote for an establishment Republican candidate who is owned by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
And where did they go in 2020? They peeled off with all the suburban women who decided they didn’t want a puerile loudmouth as president anymore.
