Turkish intelligence agency MIT engaged a jihadist charity organization to orchestrate a nationwide march targeting a military base in the southeastern province of Adana that hosts US Air Force personnel. This move was part of a strategy to create leverage for President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s government in talks with the US, according to information obtained by Nordic Monitor.
The march, coordinated by the Foundation for Human Rights and Freedoms and Humanitarian Relief (İnsan Hak ve Hürriyetleri ve İnsani Yardım Vakfı, or IHH), is called the “Freedom Convoy for Palestine.” The organizers seemed to aim at capitalizing on the increasing anti-Israeli sentiment in Turkey to rally large crowds, with the intention of exerting pressure on the US government and potentially furnishing President Erdogan with leverage in discussions unrelated to events occurring in Gaza.
Incirlik Air Base has one 3,048 m (10,000 ft)-long runway, located among about 57 hardened aircraft shelters. Tactical nuclear weapons are stored at the base. Among them are “up to” 50 B61 nuclear bombs. What could possibly go wrong?
Nothing special since Erdogan went insane.
This is another blessing in disguise. We now can see why Turkey should be booted out of NATO immediately and all U.S. military should be removed from the country.
Turkey is no voice for peace in the world. They are just another radical Islamic country.
Pull our troops and our nukes out of Turkey. Their presence there has long outlived its usefulness and Turkey is definitely not an ally anymore.
This happened back in 2019. The Trump administration actually reduced the number of nuclear bombs at Incirlik to 20.

***********The number of nuclear weapons at Incirlik appear to have been reduced, however, from up to 50 to perhaps 20. If the United States decided to withdraw the remaining nuclear weapons from Incirlik, it could probably do so with a single C-17 transport aircraft from the 4th Airlift Squadron at Joint Base Lewis-McChord in Washington — the only unit in the Air Force that is qualified to airlift nuclear weapons.*************
Do it now!
Water cannons. I like water cannons.
