From 2003 through 2010, James was convicted in Volusia County, Florida, of a series of petty crimes including possession of cocaine, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, trespassing, retail theft, possession of a concealed weapon, driving without a license, and violating a restraining order preventing him seeing a 16-year-old girl he was 'dating' when he was 23.While the childhoods of the Johnson's four biological kids were documented in family photos posted on Facebook, James was not among them.
So whar?
We need to give credit to Johnson and his wife, for trying to change this young man’s future.
Children can be raised in the best of homes, with the most loving, caring parents and it doesn’t mean they will be a good person.

No good deed goes unpunished. The Johnsons tried to help a troubled young man, but he still turned out badly. At 16 he was likely already fairly set in his ways. You can take the boy out of the ghetto but you can’t take the ghetto out of the boy.
The left will destroy any conservative who tries to do what is best for ordinary American people. The Dems were not prepared to come out instantly against Johnson because he was not on their list of potential leaders. They not only want to destroy him and his family but send a warning to any other conservatives who dares to raise his head.
It’s unfortunate that the die was already cast with this kid. He was in a bad environment for too long prior to Johnson and his wife trying to intervene. Early childhood influences are very important.
You cannot blame them for trying.
