I doubt that Frank Luntz fits into this picture at all.

But, this is a very important episode for all the people around here who believe that the VISIBLE government (at least in theory, changeable) is actually in charge of national affairs and possesses independent decision making authority.

For those people (and you know who you are), it’s always “RINOs” and “demonrats” and “Biden” and “cheating” to explain why things go wrong.

But here, an elected Speaker of the House, with complete authority to do an act (release the tapes), starts to do just that, the guy he releases to gets fired and sued by his employer to shut him up, and the Speaker loses his job.

Now, perhaps Lachlan Murdoch and Matt Gaetz are actually running the government - but that’s not probable.

It’s more probable, as we saw with 2017-2021, that the President, the Speaker of the House, the media news purveyors, and everyone else answers to a person or persons unknown who make all the important decisions.

And who cannot be removed by the electoral process.

Then cross-reference that with tape J0083 at mark 7:21:13 (11:50:00 a.m.) where [guy with backward red cap] breaks a window.

McCarthy pledged to release the surveillance tapes, but the FBI and Capitol police also had many other videos, such as bodycams and cellphone video.

There needs to be a rebuttal J6 committee to get to the truth and hold people accountable.

Sounds completely unfair of course, but how is releasing more video going to help that? That case is long over and just a tiny fraction of what was going on that day. You seem oblivious that 99% or more of the video just shows a mad riot with the doors and windows being smashed in, and officers being attacked. And that is all most anyone is going to see if it’s all over tv again.

It’s no different than when we see rioters smashing the windows of stores and looting everything in big cities now. That one innocent person wrapped up in all that isn’t what people are going to see, or remember, they’re just going to remember the store getting ransacked. You need to realize the emotions you feel when you see those inner city stores being ransacked, is what most people who don’t idolize Trump feel when they see January 6 footage.

It’s pure desperation on your part, because you still haven’t come to grips with what happened that day yet. Trump took a bad situation, and made it a lot worse. Just like releasing all the riot footage would. They’ll do another selective edit like Tucker did, if anything.
