Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Thursday said the House will consider Ukraine aid “in short order,” while reiterating that he wants to pair funding for Kyiv with U.S. border security.
The comment came after Johnson split Ukraine aid from funding for Israel, a move that frustrated lawmakers on both sides of the aisle. He has said Congress “cannot waste any time” moving the $14.3 billion Israel package.
The White House unveiled a roughly $100 billion supplemental request last month that includes funding for Ukraine, Israel, border security and allies in the Indo-Pacific, but some Republicans have objected to combining funding for Kyiv and Tel Aviv.

The best way to aid Ukraine and Israel is to drill baby drill. With the Middle East and Russia it almost always comes down to energy.

Ukraine is “not winning” its war against Russia, according to a close advisor of President Volodymyr Zelensky. Despite the difficult situation on the ground, Zelensky’s belief in an outright Ukrainian victory is said to be unmovable, according to a new report by Time. The close aide said:
“He deludes himself. We’re out of options. We’re not winning. But try telling him that.”
Nothing! That’s why we shouldn’t waste another dime on Uke corruption. Use it ALL on the border. The AMERICAN BORDER.
Not really. The rats will never vote for border security. Tie a massive and harsh border bill to Ukraine aid. See what happens.

Only if it is actually border security, not processing, transporting, food, housing, health care, education and voting cards.
Any money for Ukraine will be immediately stolen.
Any money for ‘border security’ will be instantly transferred to bringing in more illegal aliens.
Any funding for Israel will be diverted to Hamas.
The answer is to give nothing until there are iron-clad guarantees that no money will be diverted or stolen.
Okay. As long as the bill states specifically that money allocated to the border can only be used to expel illegals.
They love their graft from the Ukraine hog trough, so I disagree and believe they will sign it, if for nothing else than to continue the flow of cash.
Also, more and more people are getting very upset about the open border, so the left is playing with fire if they choose to continue to ignore the reality of illegal aliens flooding cities all over the country, and worse.
I say tie the two together and see what happens. The left may sign on, but then ignore the portion about building the wall and closing the border.

Those of us who religiously believe in “government of, by, and for the people” are having to
come to grips with the fact that the US has foreign masters ...... who are not very nice people.
US taxpayers get the multi $$billion dollar bills, gun grabbing, disappearing safety and security,
while the foreigner get terrific publicity, unlimited arms, and billions of our tax dollars.
As Openurmind insightfully posted: If a poster doesn’t want to spend away the future of their Grandchildren via these foreign aid budget busters, they are demeaned and insulted, the ignorant foreigner labeling Americans “Hamas lovers.”
God forbid an American LOVES THEIR GRANDCHILDREN FIRST AND FOREMOST over a foreign country. Making generations of Americans, not yet born, pay for this foreign aid insanity is about as immoral as immoral can get.
The war was supposed to be over in weeks. The Ukraine has won just by lasting longer than anyone could have believed. How could Russia win this, after they haven’t beaten a country that should have been crushed quickly?
