What would you like an ally to do? What is your definition of an ally? Russians were our allies in WW2. You want them to be more like Russia?
Of course not. It was a tongue in cheek comment. We have very similar world views, including the right of individuals to self-determine. I have no doubt that they will try to help us if the need arises. There’s a reason the ‘hate Israel’ crowd also hate us.
