OK, if Speaker Johnson succeeds in passing it in the House but it dies in the Senate or gets vetoed by Joe Biden, will the Freedom Caucus blame him for this failure and move to vacate his Speakership?

Why would they? It's a ridiculous question. I'm sure they are quite happy to have Speaker that isn't going to roll over for Biden and the RINOs in the Senate.

Johnson's request is quite reasonable. Biden and the Senate will end up caving even if they get Johnson and the House to remove the off-setting IRS cuts.

Get back to us when Speaker Johnson breaks his word as often as McCarthy. Specially with respect specifically with agreements he has made concerning the speakership.

What failure? He will have accomplished what he can. He can’t control the dem senate and president. But he can force their hand and make them defend their actions.

The appropriate question is, if Speaker Johnson doesn’t bend to the will of biden, (just as McCarthy had done) will the rino’s move to vacate his speakership?

No... because the freedom caucus is about ways to NOT spend money. They put up a clean bill to aid Israel. Why on earth would the Freedom Caucus be upset that he didn’t bundle it with enough pork to please the Democrats and Biden.

THAT is what Freedom Caucus would remove him over.

If they kill it in the Senate, they will have to either come up with a proposal of their own, or it will be an issue in 2024.

I doubt that very much.

Failure to pass a bill to aid Israel will permanently alienate most of the Jewish support in the Democrat party. That is a good thing for Republicans.

Likewise, a failure to rein in the IRS with a substantial budget cut may alienate most people in the upper-middle class income brackets, who should realize by now, that the IRS is about to eviscerate them with new tax rulings.

"Upper middle class" BTW is an income of $120,000 to $400,000 per year. That is who the newly armed agents of the IRS will go after because that is where the money is. And that is the sweet spot where the victims cannot afford the pricey lawyers who can fend off the IRS.

Anybody paying attention knows that the government is lying when they say "This will only affect people making more than $400,000 a year".

Good for the Republicans, bad for the Democrats if Biden vetoes this bill.

Good for the Republicans, bad for the Democrats if Biden lets this bill pass.

It is a winning combination either way.
