I would agree. It is an epidemic of degeneracy.
I have long assumed that there were these kinds of Republicans:
- Those who are REALLY Democrats and vote with them of their own free will. The Classic RINO politicians.
- Those who are compromised financially and are blackmailed. The Corrupt Grifters.
- Those who are compromised ethically (as in this case) and are blackmailed. The Twisted, Disgusting Perverts.
- Those who don't want to upset the Gravy Train that is enriching them. The Greedy Ones.
- Those who don't want to do anything controversial to rock the boat and bring attention to themselves. The Spineless Ones.
Shameful. That leaves only a very, VERY small number of Republicans who are willing to stand up.

At this point, the United States has far surpassed even Sodom and Gomorrah on that count. I suspect the end of the U.S. will bear many similarities as well.
