We should start a list of the most ridiculous Covid responses.
1.) Man arrested for surfing at Huntington Beach, California.

Basketball hoops at public parks chained shut, so people couldn't play basketball, OUTSIDE. I saw that one myself.

The CDC needs to solve the pneumonia classification issue before it tries to calculate and compare the fatality rate for Covid and influenza.
When I studied the Covid versus Flu issue several years ago, the first thing I noticed was that people who died with Covid AND pneumonia were classified as Covid fatalities 100% of the time.
The exact opposite happens when people with influenza AND pneumonia die. In that case, at least 80% of those deaths are classified as pneumonia deaths - NOT influenza deaths.
I have read hundreds of pages of state and federal Cause of Death instructions.
I have not seen any rule based decision tree for choosing - or not choosing - pneumonia as the cause of death when Covid or influenza are also present.
Since doctors and hospitals were financially incentivized to choose Covid as the cause of death, that, in my opinion, is exactly what happened on a massive scale.

And three, there was massive death certificate fraud where dying within 6 weeks or whatever of a positive test was considered death by covid.People were tagged as 'covid deaths', when they actually died in motorcycle accidents. None of the numbers from the government can be trusted at all.

Yes. Institutionalized corruption was baked into that ordeal, completely skewing any data, making it suspect. We may never get a true reckoning as to what really happened.

I don’t think they even got the risk right considering the lengths they had to go to to kill off the old people and fudge the numbers with nonsense like conflating dying FROM Covid and dying WITH Covid.

No one would listen to us anyway. The propagandists won and they will always win when they have the media on their side.
We were just one week away from being forced to get the jab. No option unless you were okay with not working, okay with starving to death.
Proof that evil wins.

It didn’t help that some of those clamoring loudest for school reopening, such as then-President Donald Trump, so clearly underestimated COVID’s risks. An underappreciated reason why the October 2020 “Great Barrington Declaration” calling for an end to lockdowns generated such an allergic reaction in public health circles is that two of its three authors, Bhattacharya and University of Oxford epidemiologist Sunetra Gupta – who in May 2020 argued that COVID “has largely come and is on its way out” in the U.K., with a fatality rate between 0.1% and 0.01% – had been so spectacularly wrong in their early risk assessments. These were not people who had earned a lot of credibility on COVID.Was a surprise! They found a way to blame Trump.
