That is a grave national sin. The Torah warns Israel that following the abominations of the nations will incur the wrath of G-d. Hamas delivered the goods. The shield was down. On the Holy Day of Simchah Torah we should be in Synagogues dancing before HaShem. Not gyrating to other music in the desert. Israel will eventually be exalted above all nations, but if we choose the low road it will be “with Fury poured out” at the hand of G-d himself. The constraints of the Torah May be difficult, even painful at times, but they lead to personal and national Life. Take hold of the Covenant, Israel, and Live.
