The Kremlin has issued an extraordinary denial to the 'lies' that Vladimir Putin, 71, had 'died at his luxury Valdia forest palace' - amid claims a 'coup' was underway in Moscow.
This comes after a Telegram channel, which has claimed for months the Russian leader had cancer and was terminally ill, announced that Putin had died.
It further claimed that a 'coup' was underway in Russia as Putin's inner circle would be trying to pass off his 'body double' as the real president.
But Putin's spokesman Dmitry Peskov told state media RIA Novosti that the report was an 'absurd information canard'.
Earlier this week he had strongly denied Putin suffered a heart attack last weekend, and said reports the Russian president used a doppelganger were false.

Then let the Russians show a video of a “live” Putin, holding a copy of today’s Pravda!

The Russian government does not have to prove anything, so President Putin does not have to show himself.
I do not see Putin as evil. The United States has been blessed with a system designed to prevent the problems with accumulation of government power. The system has been subverted by Progressives, but we still have a long history of a working system. Russia has a long history of authoritarian, then totalitarian, coming back to authoritarian power.
Russia suffers under the considerable problems which come with an authoritarian system.
How long was Yuri Andropov dead before they announced it ?
So where is he then? Proof of life please, and not with one of his body doubles.
If there’s a coup in Moscow, at least the war in Ukraine will end quickly since the major problem with Putin is that he’s too slow in getting the job done. There may not be much of the US left after that, but the war will be over soon enough.

You must have me confused, I’m no fan of Putin - but I sure as hell don’t support the Neocons starting wars just to destroy our country and our military.
And let’s not forget that he has thrown down hard on the side of the Iranians and their Palestinian puppets, not only against Israel, but against the West.
