I don’t think you can get from Lisbon to Bowdoin by boat. There is a waterfall in Brunswick negating that route on the Androscoggin. He’d needs to have a second car.
CNN is glued to the scene. However, they are casting doubt whether Card is inside. Stating, “You are under arrest!” and “Come out with your hands up!” Is standard warrant issue before entry. Seems LEO were at the home earlier, and returned. 🙄
Well, so much for that idea. It did/does seem strange though because apparently there dozens of LEO/SWAT on scene. Why would they bring in so many if they didn’t think he was there?
Also learned (different perspective from our soy boy earlier) the Cards are a large farming family, and own multiple large properties in the area.
Speaking of soy boys, had to switch off CNN because their Senior Law Enforcement Analyst is the former FBI dweeb Andrew McCabe.

Here’s a theory they were tossing around at work. Let’s say he was just an odd duck, not psycho, just different. Over time he began losing his hearing. Whenever he’d hang out at the bowling alley or restaurant or anywhere, people would comment on his weirdness, but he never really heard them. Nod, smile, wave...
He gets a new, super, state of the art hearing aid and suddenly he hears everything - including the mean comments he hadn’t heard in the past.
He hears enough and can’t stand it. The rest, is history.
Wild theory, but this is a wild case.

Self-inflicted gunshot wound. Found near a dumpster at the recycling plant where he used to work...which is on the same river where his car was located.
What a relief...but so many questions that will remain unanswered.
The shooter’s body was found inside a trailer in an overflow parking lot across the street from the main recycling facility property. LEO had previously cleared the main recycling property and parking lot. Search teams were unaware that the overflow lot was also part of the same property. Until the owner of the property alerted them to check the overflow lot.

Weekend off, whew!
Kudos to LEO who painstakingly cleared each one of the 60+ tractor tailers on the recycling facility properties. Sustained adrenaline not knowing what dangers lurked behind each of the trailer's sliding doors.
Upon their return to search the overflow parking lot, they found Card's body behind door #3.

Been enjoying outdoors today- so beautiful. Not sure if I want to even scan headlines...lol.
