I grew up in a tiny Jewish enclave on Chicago’s South Side. When I first saw New York, in the Sixties, I was awed as by no subsequent marvel of nature: stretching north from Columbus Circle, up the West Side, was a Jewish metropolis.
New York, in my lifetime, had always been a Jewish city: the rhythms, the accent, the humour always felt to me like home. Because they were home. The populace, of whatever ethnicity, was formed or noodged by Yiddishkeit, much as the Chicago of my youth was by the culture of the Irish and the Poles.
The New York Times and The New Yorker were run by Jews; they were both our Rialto and our Bible. New York Theatre, in my lifetime, had always been Jewish. The playwrights were Miller, Odets, Elmer Rice, Ben Hecht, Sidney Kingsley; and, later, Arthur Laurents, Lillian Hellman, Neil Simon, Woody Allen, Norman Mailer, Wallace Shawn, and myself.
We New York Jews have always voted for the Democrats, as their policies appealed to the immigrants and the first generation (my parents). A Fair Shake, a safety net, and unionism were manna to the newly arrived — in spite of (in both their and my lifetime) quotas and antisemitic discrimination. The immigrant Jews did well here, and voted for Franklin Roosevelt. And we are voting for him still.

The position of the Jews changed in 1948 with the foundation of the Jewish State. But the habits of 2,000 years, now of Liberal Jews (in the diaspora and in Israel) have not changed. These appeal, in the name of humanity, to powers which may believe in humanity, but, unfortunately, do not consider Jews human.
The DEMs betrays most every group that votes for them. Career politicians are only looking out for themselves, and anything that causes US citizens to fight each other just aids there money-laundering causes.
And in 2024, the Jews will betray themselves by voting Democrat.
Succinct which is good and while format and spelling do meet present standards, I dont believe that its really comprehensive enough to cover the subject.

The best friend’s of Israel have been GOP Presidents. Why US Jews have such a mindless attachment to the Democrats defies understanding.

Bingo. A perfect example of this is with the blacks. The Democrats know they have the black vote in the bag. So there is no need to really help them. Keep them poor, with a free turkey every Thanksgiving.

This is something I have discussed with my Jewish friends. I simply cannot understand why so many Jewish people are democrats. Democrats have historically NOT supported Israel and side with the muzzies.
The Bible is full of examples of the Jewish people’s folly.

Just woke from a nap, turned TV sound on, Bottom Line show - Brig Gen Antony Tata said that there is a known Iranian spy on the Joint Chief’s staff who communicates daily with the Mullahs. Iran knows everything abut our military deployments worldwide.

Actually, I have; and I think his “conversion” — qualified and conditional — probably began around 2012, not ten years earlier. He’s still liberal, but not a knee-jerk liberal (and I can respect him for that). I see him more as a Joe Lieberman liberal than a Barack Obama liberal.
I read somewhere when they published Judas’ obit that there was a (D) after his name.

“Trump has caused all of this” and “Nazis from Ukraine are in Israel stirring things up” are two quotes I’ve heard in the last two weeks.
