Read Ezekiel 38 and 39 and ask yourself what is the one thing that might unite the divisions of Islam and civil wars that burn throughout the region? What is the one thing that might sow so much discord in Western nations that they refuse to do what is right?
I would submit that it is the thorn.

Isn’t it funny that it is called a thorn, and Ezekiel mentions the pruning hook—pulling the very jaws of Gog to make war on Irael.
EZ 38:8 “In future years you will invade a land that has recovered from war, whose people were gathered from many nations to the mountains of Israel, which had long been desolate. They had been brought out from the nations, and now all of them live in safety.”
There is no other country that this can refer too, and it is even named Israel.

Reminds me of the Israeli-Arab war where the Israeli’s sunk a US spy ship. The attacks are doomed to continue unless Israel wipes Hamas and other assorted enemies off the map.
I looked at the wife the other day and remarked that you don’t have to be an expert bible scholar to see the remarkable events unfolding throughout the world and it is always about Israel.
The alliances most believe necessary grow stronger and Israel has few friends and those (including us) grow weaker by the year.
There is only one cause that unites the Muslim world and we are seeing it every day. The Abraham Accords, peace with Egypt, rise of tribalistic fundamentalism in Libya, the Mad Mullahs in Iran, war in Yemen, Shia vs Sunni, and the horrible civil war in Syria....... the thorn shatters peace and erases hatred in the blink of an eye.
