We should also not forget that Reagan was the man who had been working on this for much of his life and that it is what probably gave him much of the drive to become President, Reagan recruited and capitalized on help and was lucky to have that Pope and Margeret Thatcher, and even eventually got Russian leader number 4-Gorbachev, but Reagan was the driving force that defeated Russia.
Without Reagan, who knows what the world would be like now?
