Don’t think Donalds will win the vote.
But he will get enough Conservatives to keep RINOS like Tom Emmer
from winning. And that is a good thing.

Hey dumbass.
Costs like 600 bucks to expunge records, at least in CA.
2. If it’s expunged, a judge decided it wasn’t a big enough offense, and okay’d it being expunged. you can’t just expunge whatever you want.
by US Justice code and most,if not all states, except for a very few situations, He is considered to not be a felon, and can answer as such. So his record is clean.
Quit hating on the black guy because he made some serious mistakes in his life. He obviously cared enough to try to get back on the straight and narrow and be honest, otherwise why bother expunging it?
Now that said, I don’t want him for speaker because anyone McCarthy supports is suspect to me.

I’d much prefer to just have speaker votes for now. Have all of those, and more, get various numbers less than 217.
The more that continues, the longer the clowns don’t have CRs, don’t have massive bills with less than 24 hours to read, no more funding ukraine, the more that the feral govt has its hands tied

The only one appearing sane is the black dude.

I don’t want him for speaker because anyone McCarthy supports is suspect to me. I thought McCarthy was pushing Emmer.

I hate to say this but in his book Rush Limbaugh Is A Big Fat Idiot And Other Observations (January, 1996)((In the grand satirical tradition of Swift, Rabelais, and Twain)) he said Rush made a mistake going on TV with an audience we could see instead of letting us only hear his listeners on radio. He described the out of style men’s suit fashions and comb over hair styles and said they looked like hayseeds in a church meeting in Iowa or something.
About today: This photo array is not appealing.

Good.
I don’t want a squeaky clean person that assumes the best in people as a speaker. It is like sending a lamb to the slaughter.
I rather send an ex-criminal and ex-con. He might even survive confrontation with the Demoncrats

The slate is set for a Monday evening conference in the Republican House of Representatives as nine GOP politicians have registered by the deadline today to put their names in the nomination process. After the conference meets on Monday night, there will be a secret ballot vote on Tuesday.
The absolute worst-case scenario is Tom Emmer (R-MN) who has just received the endorsement of Kevin McCarthy. Emmer wants to abolish the electoral college for presidential races in favor of a national popular vote. Unfortunately, Emmer likely carries around 70 automatic votes from the professionally Republican caucus.
On the opposite side of that spectrum is Byron Donalds (R-FL) who is pure MAGA and also running for the job.
WASHINGTON DC – The House GOP’s enormous speaker field is officially set, with nine Republicans seeking to somehow unify their splintered party after almost three weeks without a leader.
It’s the most crowded field since former Speaker Kevin McCarthy’s fall 19 days ago. The latest round of candidates includes current GOP leaders — like Majority Whip Tom Emmer (R-Minn.) and Vice Chair Mike Johnson (R-La.) — as well as more surprising rank and file members like Reps. Jack Bergman (R-Mich.). Another last-minute addition, Rep. Gary Palmer (R-Ala.), who serves as GOP policy chair, raised eyebrows on Sunday.
“Any one of those, I think, could get very close to 217. But the question is which one of those can actually cross the finish line,” Rep. Andy Ogles (R-Tenn.) told POLITICO, referring to candidates like Reps. Byron Donalds (R-Fla.), Kevin Hern (R-Okla.) and Johnson. (read more)
Byron Donalds and Mike Johnson appear to be the best options of this field.
