Wouldn’t they be better off with some sort of quasi bankruptcy and a federal judge running the place? Even a leftist judge might do a better job of preventing a complete collapse. Obviously San Francisco has lost any ability to self-govern.

Wouldn’t they be better off with some sort of quasi bankruptcy and a federal judge running the place? One might think so. But we federal taxpayers would then even more likely end up bailing out the socialist's attempted takeover. In such event, few if any would learn the lesson and even more would vote for D's.
