One of the great things for Islam is that it tends to not change and become diluted or perverted with all these new fashionable ideas people come up with.

Christianity today has 10,000 different flavors and some of the beliefs held by some Christians are outright heretical, go against the most basic doctrine we have, the Bible. The point being that Islam unlike Christianity tends to stick to its ideas and not change with time. This is Christianity: feminism appears 1900, you get female pastors. LGBTQ appears 1980s, you get gay pastors. Socialism appears 1860s, you get some Christians equivocating socialism with Christianity. Climate change appears 1970s, you have the Pope prostrating himself before this new Golden Calf today: https://www.msn.com/en-in/news/other/high-probability-pope-francis-could-attend-cop28-climate-conference-in-dubai/ar-AA1ivwv0 Christianity is whatever people want it to be.

If you really want to learn about Islam, you need to learn Arabic since not even translations are accepted as “authentic.” That is why all nations that have a large Islamic population eventually have Arabic as a major language. There is a beauty in that, Islam isn’t a joke like Christianity. They take it serious and they don’t change like the weather.

For an orthodox/fundamentalist Muslim, all these folks that accept modern ideas, philosophies, etc. are not real Muslims.

For there to really be coexistence (bumper sticker philosophy), and peace, Islam would have to change since part of Islam (which literally means “submission”) is conversion by force, oppression of women, killing homosexuals, treating non-Muslims as second rate before the law, not allowing free speech regards Islam and especially the prophet Mohamed...

***How do you accommodate liberal Western culture with it’s freedoms (speech, religion, etc), democracy, secular law, with a culture that permeates every aspect of society dictating everything from dress (example Hijab), food (Halal), the law (Sharia), education, the arts and entertainment...???***

Here’s another way to look at it: Islam is the ONLY religion where the more devout someone becomes, the greater the disagreements and threat.

***How do you coexist with a culture that does not compromise and change, is forceful/violent, and goes against many of the major ideas Western culture has embraced over the millennia? What is Western society doing regards a culture where once you reach about 30% they begin to take over: https://external-content.duckduckgo.com/iu/?u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.dw.com%2Fimage%2F41585968_401.png&f=1&nofb=1&ipt=a9c41264f063a5853611384b63414338416410bf97d35e085f884c2d083bd54a&ipo=images Historically, there are (2) two tipping points when it comes to Islam and demographics. The first is when they reach about 10%. At that point they begin to make demands in so far that they expect the host nation to allow for their culture to supersede the laws and traditions of the host in areas where they have a majority. Example of this is France today. The second tipping point is when they reach ~30%, at that point the country et al. becomes heavily Islamic influenced. This is because Islam is the sole means of organizing society for these people and even though they are only ~30%, they are extremely united and forceful. Examples here are Lebanon and Sudan.

Islam has been and remains a ticking time bomb, pun intended.

There are really only a few ways to deal with this and none of them are “feel-good.”

***When folks do not get along and you don’t want them killing each other (a nasty domestic argument as an example) you separate them. You create physical distance between them, maybe even erect barriers and you limit the communications to only what is essential.

The alternative is worse.

I'd be disappointed if I knew that I would never live to see them fade away.

In the meantime, I do hope that their "overreach" blows up in their faces time and time again.
