Probably the money he collected way back in 2020 to "stop the steal" but was never used for that. He wants to use it now to look like people are donating to his current campaign.
We know Trump divested $260,000 in campaign contributions to keep Melania looking pretty. I wonder how much money he has moved over for legal expenses.

Trump's numbers are pitiful--and over half of it going to lawyers.
The “stop the steal” money did not go to contest the election. Rudy Giuliani was never even paid for his legal services. It went into the Save America PAC. Which is what Trump is claiming are “donations” to his campaign this quarter, when $25M (10% of the $250M collected to stop the steal) was transferred to his campaign from the PAC. Sure the PAC has had other money come in since 2020, but the bulk of it came from 2020. This is not some secret information, or limited to certain sites. It’s all well known, to anyone interested in knowing the truth.
