Cotton: Biden Supplemental Spending Proposal is Dead on Arrival
Washington, D.C. — Senator Tom Cotton (R-Arkansas) released the following statement after President Biden released his proposed supplemental spending bill:
“President Biden’s slush fund proposal is dead on arrival, just like his budgets. We will not spend, for example, $3.5 billion to address the ‘potential needs of Gazans,’ essentially functioning as a resupply line for Hamas terrorists.
****“We will also not spend $11.8 billion to fund the Ukrainian government’s own non-war spending, such as funding retirement pensions for Ukrainian government employees.****** Nor will we spend $4.7 billion for housing, transportation, and ‘services’ for illegal aliens in the United States rather than deporting them.
“The Biden proposal is going nowhere, and Senate Republicans will take the lead on crafting a funding bill that protects Americans and their interests.”
New Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek’s first budget plan calls for big spending on housing, education and behavioral health
Kotek says her proposal is a return to “core services” for state government.
New Oregon Gov. Tina Kotek wants to spend $1 billion in the next two years to preserve and build more affordable housing, funnel more than $9 billion to public schools and devote millions to increase staffing at the Oregon State Hospital, under a $116.5 billion proposed spending plan released on Tuesday.
A governor’s proposed budget is a moral document — a signal to the legislators actually responsible for balancing the state’s books of what the state’s chief executive considers most important. So it’s no surprise that Kotek’s proposed 2023-25 budget focuses on the central issues she talked about on the campaign trail: Oregon’s housing crisis, improving access to mental health and addiction services, and improving outcomes for Oregon students.

Yep...
“I put $40B in an offshore account for you, Joe, just like Hunter told me to.”

“WTF....that little creep Zelensky gets $80B and I get a measly $8B?”
“That demented dimwit Biden is gonna live to regret this.”
PS: OREGON BUDGET MAY BE BIENNIEL??
Yep; one of my favorite movies!

Unfortunately, yes. I have spoken to people who legally immigrated here and worked hard in pursuit of the 'American dream'. They too are very upset about what is happening to our nation.

The U.S. budget deficit increased 23 percent to $1.7 trillion, an increase of $320 billion, in the year (after the Biden administration pushed through the Inflation Reduction Act which it claimed would close the government’s funding gap). The explosive growth in the deficit came as revenue fell $457 billion from a year ago and expenses decreased by just $137 billion. Total spending for the year came in at $6.134 trillion.

Joe Biden Demands Billions to Bus More Migrants into U.S. Communities
Joe Biden’s deputies are asking Congress for $14 billion extra to bus illegal migrants up to the U.S. border and into American communities.
Another $14 million under the rubric of what Biden calls “border security.”
If elections in OR were not fraudulent, this BOD (Rhymes-with-witch On Duty) would not be governor, the conservative who was way up in the polls would be.
Unbelievable, Gomer Cotton finally read proposed legislation before voting.
