Podcaster Dan Bongino blasted House members Friday for not producing a speaker after 17 days.
"PICK A SPEAKER ALREADY YOU CHILDISH NITWITS!" Bongino wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter.
Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) has failed in three elections for speaker as of Friday. The previous two elections happened back to back on Thursday. Former Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) was ousted when eight Republicans voted to oust him along with the rest of the Democratic members.
"McCarthy, of all people, was just on the floor nominating Jordan, which makes these whining crybaby wussbags in Congress look even worse," Bongino said later on his podcast, the Dan Bongino Show. "This is hilariously stupid. This is so dumb. Put your big boy pants on."

All Democrats AND Republicans are supposed to be working for the good of the country(USA by the way), but seem more interested in fulfilling their own selfish wishes. They seem to want more for their particular state than anything for the good of the whole country. Somehow they are going to have to work past this or we will never have a working House of Representatives. I’m just Joe Q. Nobody, but it’s looking like I could qualify to run for the House next time around or maybe even Speaker of the House. Just kidding as I’m too old & too retired (and too broke to campaign).
Well don’t listen if it bothers you I guess
I disagree. More chaos, less legislation.
I don’t think humanity needs devils and demons. The ingenuity of human beings does pretty well in the area of evil on its own, without supernatural help.
I also don’t believe that God created a Universe in which he has any competitors. It’s only the nonsense of our wayward selves that causes trouble - He gave us Free Will.
‘Devil’ and ‘demon’ may have been a useful way to portray man’s own negative nature to a relatively primitive people. I think we’re past that now, and need to look OURSELVES straight in the eye.
‘The Devil made me do it’ is a damn copout.
“‘The Devil made me do it’ is a damn copout.”
It is, indeed... and has been used many times as an excuse for bad or... dare I say it... demonic behavior.
However, the two issues at hand (demonic influence vs. man’s own negative nature) can both be true at the same time. If that were not true, then Adam and Eve would not have sinned and failed in the Garden of Eden and thus doomed mankind to this crap-fest we call “Life on planet earth”. But I guess you don’t believe in that part, either.
My take: It’s all true and it’s all playing out exactly as prophesized in the Bible. We’re here to choose ... good over evil. That’s the whole (and only) point in this life we’re living. You might want to consider altering your viewpoint and facing that reality. It might come as a rather unpleasant shock at some time in the (near?) future, otherwise.
Take care.
(the following not meant to criticize or change your beliefs. Only offering what I believe is true.)
The demons aren't the source of evil and don't influence the world.
Evil comes from only one source. Mankind.
Demons are created by and drawn to the evil expressed by mankind. The reason things seem worse is that the US Society and it's leadership are practicing evil for the sake of evil. The demons they are creating and drawing in will manifest themselves soon. Our leadership(?) will spend their last breath blaming us for the chaos and destruction to come.
I was taught that profanity exposes a lack of vocabulary.
I still don’t believe in demons, but I’ll take your message under advisement.
