So government remains effectively shut down?
Jefferies only got 210 this time
Well, the lobbyists are getting what they pay for, the taxpayers not so much.
Werewolves Of Congress
Middle finger salute to Matt Gaetz who dared to show the emperor had no clothes.
Ahooooooooh
Doing the same thing over and over and over and expecting different results is the text book definition of insanity
Here is how the game has been played in DC for over 2 decades now.. The US House GOP is told “oh you have to only pass bills that the Senate will vote for and the White House will sign”.
The result is the House GOP consistently passes hard Left Democrats Legislation to “get things done”. The Democrat get all the political benefits while the GOP gets all the blame from the voters. This game has got to stop being played by the GOP. This is a chance to do that.
This is a chance for the GOP to start actively using the power of the US House to say “You want something done Senate? You want something done White House? Here is what we passed. Either vote for it or reject it. We have done our job.”
I would be careful about wishing people dead.
Not only is it dangerous..it is very bad karma.
Tom Kean ?!
One was enough! His dad SHOULD have earned a Darwin award.
“Primary them all. Especially that turncoat John James (T MI).”
He’s a total fool. But he’s got his cushy Rep job now instead of a Senate job. Same pay so he doesn’t care.
Hey, at least moving McCarthy out for McHenry (temporary) got Pelosi removed from her “special” office.
Jordan should not drop out, thereby preventing a dem or rino from winning. The only way to win would be with a huge number of democrat votes and not just a few.
That would spell the end of any questions about the real republican party.
The list of Rs opposing Jordan will probably continue to grow. It’s hard to imagine what concessions Jordan could make to win enough of them over
John James is a huge surprise and big disappointment. Not sure what’s up with him.
Conservatism works...
But you have to USE it.
Our current Republican leaders would, for the most part, rather die than act conservatively.
The only time they ever show any determination or fight is when it is against conservative ideals.
We have a uniparty comprised of a leftwing party and a far-left party.
President Trump is mostly moderate, but it was his conservative actions that worked and paid off. And the uniparty is alarmed.
“John James is a huge surprise and big disappointment. Not sure what’s up with him.”
bttt
They all go to DC to get rich. Every...Single...One...Of...Them!
These asshats better wake up to the fact that what they are voting ‘no’ on is the future support of a significant portion of what’s left of their ‘base’. John James, not my congressman, but a fellow Michiganian who I cast a vote for twice in Senate bids, did it again.
If I ever have have an opportunity to tick the box for an office that he’s seeking, he’s already earned my ‘HELL NO!” vote.
